PRECEPTORSHIP PROGRAM
Designed to thoroughly prepare NP's, PAs and others with the pertinent knowledge and practical clinical skill sets.
Our GOAL:
The student will be in an active medical practice setting
Direct Hands-on from day one.

Intensive high-powered clinical patient management.

The student will be introduced to all aspects of a medical practice, from front to back. A MUST KNOW!!

One on one patient presentation and oral evaluation constantly.

Transition their didactic knowledge, teach develop and clinical skills with an emphasis on quality, accuracy, and patient management experiences:

Will be supervised initially in the Clinical management of patient diseases.

The student will develop essential and fundamental competencies for each patient assessment, analysis, and diagnoses.

To meet the needs of both the universities and the students, and to ensure that the students has a placement location for their clinical practicums.
Most importantly, teach and empower the student with the fundamental clinical knowledge, skills to practice medicine independently in any medical practice setting
One-on-One fundamental clinical knowledge and skill with ease and confidence.
In addition to the clinic training, the student has the option to learn the following fundamentals of operating a medical practice:
FRONT OFFICE
Insurance verification. capitated insurances, etc.
MID OFFICE
Management of lab and diagnostic results, referrals, communications with health plans for pt issues.
BILLING
Need to know the payment for services, communication insurance, and collections, etc.
BACK OFFICE & MINI LAB
Vitals intake, Plebotomy, U/A, hgb, glu, shots, immunizations, etc.
PROCEDURE ROOM
Basic procedures knowledge of minor surgery, vision, ENT, eye procedures, nebulizers, etc.
OPTIONAL - Very Important
Students will be allowed, for 2 months, to volunteer to work here at the clinic, so that they can practice and zone-in all that they have learned, confidence building!!
The clinic will provide a certificate of clinical competence with experience, for their future employment application.
